    1. Release of central assistance to States and Union Territories for implementation of CAD Programme under Five Year Plans and Annual Plans.
    2. Monitoring and review of CAD Projects and evaluation studies. Examination of water management / CAD aspects major and medium irrigation projects received from CWC
    3. Examination projects for inclusion in the CAD programme. Liaison with NITI Aayog, Ministry of Agriculture, ICAR, etc.
    4. Coordination regarding On-farm water management projects proposed by ICAR and Ministry of Water Resources.
    5. Farmers Exchange Programme in States and Action Research Programme.
    6. Regional meeting of CAD Secretaries
    7. Examination and monitoring of CAD component of foreign aided projects. Also preparation and security of project on
      1. Water logging /soil salinity under Food & Agriculture programmes.
      2. Water management programmes under the Indo-Syrian cooperation programme.
    8. Organizing Training at national level on CAD activities
    9. Coordination Committee of Ministry of Water Resources India Meteorological Department and Ministry of Agriculture.
    10. Coordination in agricultural matters including water rates for crops.
    11. Matters related to International Irrigation Management Institute.
    12. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)
    13. Nodal Wing for Promotion, facilitation, guidance and coordination of Participatory Irrigation Management (PIM) in the country.
    14. Assistance to State Governments in the preparation of model / sample reports and scrutiny thereof, and liaison coordination in formulation of pipeline projects.
    15. Scrutiny and monitoring of evaluation reports prepared by various missions deputed by donor agencies.
    16. Scrutiny of draft agreements and other documents leading to signing of main agreements and other agreements involving technical assistance.

    2. Issues pertain to NABARD & NWDA, for debt servicing and state share for all the states.
    3. Master Data base (Regular updation).
    4. Matter Related to PMKSY council / PMO related PMKSY.
    5. Coordination with DoLR & DoA for other components of PMKSY.
    6. Opertaional Guidelines.
    7. Returns: Monthly summary for cabinet, e-samiksha, RTI, Court cases etc.
    8. TAC & investment clearance related issues.
    9. Audit related works (CAG, PAC etc.)
    10. National Projects.

    4. All issues related to “Incentivization Scheme for Bridging Irrigation Gap (ISBIG)”.
    5. All activities pertain to Project Implementation Review Committee (PIRC) meetings.
    6. Related Parliament Questions, VIP references, Grievances.
